Retrieve

The Retrieve step defines the source query for an Executable.

For #Batch, it selects the records to process. For #Data List, it selects the records displayed in the UI.

DSP automatically includes fields required by downstream steps, such as Scoping, Match, and Mapping. Fields selected in Retrieve are mainly used for preview and display.
